Boccia Ball Clinic This Week!

Sep 20, 2021

Boccia is a sport where the aim of the game is to throw leather balls as close as they can to a white target ball, or jack. At the end of each round, the referee measures the distance of the balls closest to the jack, and awards points accordingly: one point for each ball that is closer to the jack than the opponent's closest ball. The team with the highest number of points at the end of the game is the winner. The Kentucky and Indiana Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America will be partnering with our Adaptive Sports Program and Bowling Green Parks and Recreation to host a Boccia Clinic. The clinic will take place September 25th and 26th at the Kummer Little Recreation Center. The clinic will be open to veterans as well as other interested community members. For more information on the Boccia Ball Clinic please call Cameron Levis at 270-393-3265 or visit bgky.org/bgpr. #updatebg #BGPR #adaptivesports #bgky
